The Love-Tree Social Welfare Foundation (the “Foundation”) respects and protects your personal data. This summary explains how we collect and use personal data on this website. The authoritative version is theChinese privacy policy; where any discrepancy arises, the Chinese version prevails.

What we collect and why

Donations — name, contact details, donation amount: to issue receipts, publish the statutory donor acknowledgement (name and amount only), and stay in touch.
Tax-deduction upload (with your consent) — national ID number: to upload donation records to Taiwan's tax authority so you need not attach paper receipts.
Volunteer / service applications — name and contact details: to process and follow up on your application.
Website use — cookies and anonymous analytics: to keep the site running and improve it.

Public donor acknowledgement

Under Article 25 of Taiwan's Foundations Act, we publish an annual donor list showingname and amount only. If you prefer not to have your name published, tell us when you donate or afterwards by phone (+886-2-2893-6122) and we will list you as an anonymous well-wisher.

Your rights

Under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act you may review, obtain a copy of, correct, or request that we stop using or delete your personal data. Contact the Foundation's administration office at +886-2-2893-6122.

Security

Online donation transactions are handled by a third-party payment provider with appropriate security measures; we do not store your card number on this website.
